Gina was a member and active supporter of this website. She died of a heart attack on January 25, 2011. She was 45 and worked for 15 years as a physician and mentor, specializing in OB-GYN. Her life exemplified compassion. She had a passion for caring for women of all races who struggled with the hardships of poverty. Tentatively, a memorial will be held in Jersey City on February 19. Details of the memorial will be posted here as available. We are compiling a memory book on the life of Gina.  Mistakes come in many forms and most people either regret these mistakes, try to learn from them, or a combination of both.
